Does anyone know what kind if rivets hold the spring clamps on the leaf springs? I have a couple of broken clamps and have not been able to find the rivet available in any of the usual parts source websites. I have the new clamps, just need rivets. Maybe they are called something else.

These clamps are the ones closest to the ends of the spring.

    Thanks.

As I continued to search for an answer I purchased clamps like these. It looks like I don't need the rivets?

    Description:
This is a spring clamp to replace your old ones that may have broken or fallen off by now. This is easy to install; simply place around your spring, and hammer the tabs over. It has a centering divot on the bottom to line up with a locator hole if you have one. Each spring should have at least 2, but you may need 3 or 4 depending on how hard you drive your truck. If you have issues with your spring leaves fanning out, this will fix that problem!

I’ve used those, but I was never able to keep them in place without (gag... cough...) duct tape. As they cycle, they work their way out towards the ends of the springs. As soon as they pop past a shorter leaf, they become loose and rattle. Maybe you could inconspicuously run a piece of safety wire from each one back to a u-bolt? Or?

I would drill a locator hole. Not sure how well that would actually hold though

I made some out of, IIRC, 7/16" bolts. I ground the heads to look nice & used a torch & hammer to set them.

These are all DIY. Had to fab a few clamps as well.
