    are those the original brackets? my 72 is way different and im wondering if it changed that much in the 2 years.

    It came in this condition with my 74 when I bought it. I installed a CJ7 fold and tumble seat and didn’t need it. I’m certainly not the expert.

    The seat brackets shown on the seat are correct for the 74-75 model year CJs.

    Are those different than an early cj5? The back legs look bent to me.

    Are 74-75 seat brackets the same as the Renegade I / II seat brackets? Sure look similar.

    I think both sides are bent as it rolls off the seat. Gradual curve shouldn't be there I would bet. Both sides are bent to different degrees. Could be easily straightened after removing from seat frame.

    Yeah they tend to bend like that. The factory later added another strap of steel to reinforce them, which I'd copy after straightening back out. That's a good price, hard to find this stuff!

    If you decide to sell just the brackets and can ship them, let me know, I'd be interested in taking them off your hands. Don't need the seat, just brackets. I'll pay shipping of course.
