It’s me again. I’ve installed the speedo cable and parking break cable which went well, but I’m trying to find out where they are attached to the frame, body, or fenders. I had to metal clips that were attached to the speedo cable so I’m thinking they screw somewhere to the Jeep. I’m also wonder where the clip for the parking break cable mounts to the fender if in fact it does mount there. I have the shop manual and saw a diagram of the parking brake but it really doesn't show where it’s mounted to the fender. As far as the speedo cable goes I can’t find a picture of that anywhere. Thanks for the help as I’m closing in on getting her back on the road.

I’d be interested as well. I recently changed both and need to secure them

These pics aren’t the best and you’ll have to ignore the Multi color engine bay but here are where mine are attached. Happy to take more pics from different angles in the daylight if that would be helpful.

Here’s the clip where my speedo cable is located (circled). It’s on the passenger side about midway on the toe board.

Here’s where the parking brake cable is connected on my drivers side fender

Thanks for the pictures. I found some pics of when I tore it down so I had some good pics of the clip for the parking brake but not for the Speedo. There is so many little parts and pieces but I know it will end some day ha ha.
