Does anybody recognize the brand of this "Hi-lift" jack? I picked it up in a garage sale for $5. It does not look like the Harbor freight knock-offs. It's paint is so faded I think it is from before the Harbor Freight era. The handle is welded on, not removable.

I soaked it down in WD-40 and got the pins and levers, etc moving freely. It works fine, it lifted the entire front of the jeep without any issues. I think I will just keep it in the garage for quick access.

    Any ideas on the maker?

I'd say you got a screaming deal for $5. Mine works still fine after decades.
