I'm going to flip my tie rod using TMR tapered bushings standard jeep taper . What size do I drill out the holes in the knuckles to I've heard 7/8" and 3/4" I don't want to ruin a set of knuckles drilling them out to large

It should be 3/4" for the jeep taper.

Thanks Kyle that's what I thought from measuring but their little microscopic chart looks like it says 7/8 I'll drill out to 3/4 and if it don't fit I'll go bigger

I think the 7/8" is for the one ton tie rod flip inserts.
Drill it nice and straight in one pass and pull the bit out so you get a nice tight fit. Pre heat the knuckle end so it won't suck the heat out of the weld.
Doesn't need to be red, but needs to be way too hot to touch.
I can probably weld them for you if the knuckles are off the axle, or if you want to put the axle in the bed of a pickup and bring it down.
