I have plenty of questions, but if someone could just point me in the direction of a DOWNLOADABLE Version of OEM 1973 Jeep Chrysler Technical Service Manual I have bought the paper version off rockauto but it’s eta brutal. If someone could share there’s or point it out would be appreciated! I’ve owned jeeps before but this is my first Commando although the seller was dishonest about most things I am pumped. And would appreciate any help you guys could give me at the moment to figure out how sc3wed I am.

This '74 manual should cover the Commando: https://oljeep.com/edge_74_tsm.html

Mechanically, it's very similar to the CJs but has a different transfercase shifter and the option of an automatic transmission.

    thank uou
Thank you, appreciate it. And thanks to everyone else who posted. You have any knowledge in fuel pumps? Like I said, I have a 1973 Jeep Commando with a 4.2l 258 - have a 1 barrel YF Carter - what is the correct fuel pump?? I have tried a fuel from NAPA and the PSI is to high and blowing by the needle. Should I switch it to electric fuel pump?r?

How do you know the pressure is too high?
Maybe the carb needs an overhaul...at least replace the needle & seat.
Don't switch to electric...the mechanical pump should be fine.
This is a simple, long proven system of fuel delivery.
