Hei Conversion

    I'm in the process of installing a Speedway wiring harness in a 69 CJ5 chassis with the 225 that has had the HEI conversion. I've installed another body (CJ2A) on this chassis and was hoping someone saved some of the old instructions on how this conversion was done. I'm primarily needing to know how best to wire everything. A wiring diagram for this would be great. I understand the ballast resistor isn't needed and I'll need to run 12v to the distributor. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Since you're upgrading the wiring, there is much good info at this site. It helped me when I did my wiring upgrade. (y)

    ALSO, carry an extra module and cap coil for your HEI. The components aren't the same high quality as they used to be. ;)
