Getting ready to take the Best Top top off my CJ for the summer. Just curious how you all prefer to store yours to keep from damaging it

Bestop Supertop...the back and side windows hang on the garage wall. The actual top gets rolled up and folded down, and stays on the Jeep. The lower half doors stay on the Jeep. The upper half doors are in king size flannel pillow cases, stashed behind the rear seat.
I can put the top up and doors on in about 5 minutes and stay fairly dry in case of a summer thunderstorm.

Edit- picture of how I hang the sides on the garage wall.

Folded (not the side windows) and stored in the original shipping box it came in.

    On the jeep:D
I had mine folded down behind the rear seat for a week or 2 and the damn mice chewed 2 holes in my 1 year old top:steamed:

I usually leave the top on and popped the sides and doors off

I used to have all the pieces of the Bestop Supertop layouted out flat on the carpet of a downstairs bedroom that wasn’t being used.

I take mine off and fold it (without folding the windows) and I have some boards across the rafters in my garage that I lay it on.

I did much the same. Tried to never, ever roll the windows. If I carried them they were flat with large rags between them.

Seeing that, I now remember I had a similar "boot" for the shell of the top to fold into. I never took that off -figuring it would help some if I got caught in rain.

No matter where you store it, make sure to put something with it to repell critters. Don't ask me how I know!

Folded and stored on the top of the garage fridge.
