I have had some bad weather here . Got the flywheel on and lined up the clutch . I went to tighten up the pressure plate bolts and 1 would not tighten to 30lbs . I had to go buy some new bolts and 1 for the new threads . I went from a 5/16 to a 3/8 . it tighten right down . Now another will not tighten . i will check it tomorrow .

Great persistence. I hated the brake light switch so much I made sure I got one that mounted on the swinging pedal setup. All better now. Keep at it!

I have been trying to get this jeep ready for a road trip . My son is graduating the 14th . He wants to drive it 15 miles round trip on the 14th and 10 miles round trip to his last day of High School . Trying to check road worthiness! Order the seat belts from seat belts . com .

Been working the drive ability of the jeep . The whole steering needs to be replaced but for now the two bad tie rods will be replaced . I am hoping this will get rid of the play in the front end . Changed the plugs and set the gap on the points . Runs real strong . I have drove some bad vehicles but i will not take the jeep over 15 mph . It scares me !!!!
