all right, I'm going to buy a new pair of shoes for this POS....I have a 2.5" lift, and it was determined that tire size to replace what was on there is 235 75 R15.

will 31's fit? 32's? 33 seems a bit much for the Fhead motor. also concerned with frame rub issues when turning.

wife wants big knobbys. I prefer tall and skinny swampers..

I had 30x10.50 on mine when i bought it.

I replaced with 7.0x15 HDT, which are about 32” by 9 or so. Havent put the tub on it, but should also be ok

IIRC those are ~31x10 in my sig at stock height. The FHead likes the skinny tires better.

I have 31x10.5 x15 on my v6 1970 Jeep. It came with that tire and it doesn’t appear to rub at full lock.

Nothing new to report per say. Hobby plates came in today for the wifes jeep. First thing she pointed out was that I'll have to initiate the jeep wave to her. In all my years driving my jeep, I've NEVER had to be the first to wave. :madwife:

This is a flatty but it should apply here,,,

My GPW had 750-16 Goodyear G90 with 4.88's. Pulled fine when I drove it and didn't have to slip the clutch to get rolling.

~ 5/8 to 11/16 clearance between tire and leaf spring.

46 2A Currently running 33x11.5x15 TSL Thornbirds (1.5in wheel spacers?) and the L134 w/ 5.38 pulled them just fine but I had to slip the clutch on hills

~1/4 in. away from the steering stop in this picture

Yea put me on the list for your wiring harness impressions as well. I have looked at that exact harness for my 46 Willys. The seller is not too far from me.
I would be interested in the observations of someone who has actually installed one.

    Installation was a breeze.
There's more than enough Wires attached to run everything and then some.
And there are still slots in the fuse block that are open for any additional thingamajigs i might want to add, such as a radio, 12 volt cigarette lighter / phone charger Etc
