I went and checked this out yesterday. Lots of rust on the tub but it's complete and rolls.
It has five steel wheels, two gas tanks, an overdrive, bench seat and the rear seat cushions are still there.

I checked as much of the frame as I could, I didn't see any cracks or repairs. The left front shackle hanger has been re-welded to the frame, and there was a bracket or two welded to the frame inside the front wheel well.
The rear cross member looks to have been replaced with heavier steel but the chrome Tuxedo Park rear bumper was there.

I don't know when it last ran but the owner tells me he drove it there from south of town.
I'd own it now myself if I weren't up to my elbows in two Intermediates already.

A big project for sure, but it's a V 6 Tuxedo Park with most of the original Chrome pieces and hes not asking a fortune for it…

I’ve never seen the gas cap on the passenger side before. Still has license plate holder!

my 66 Tux has twin tanks. The passenger side indent is riveted on not spot welded. May have been a dealer add on option. The tank is a mirror image of the drivers side

The passenger side tank was an old school aftermarket add on.

I'm thinking flat fender conversion. If I have to buy a body anyway I might as well buy the one I really want.

What I'm hoping is someone here will buy it, to save me from dragging it home. I have no where inside to store it right now.

I don't suppose you got the serial number? If it is, in fact, a '67, there were very few of those made at the tail end of the Tux production. This one is complete enough, and rare as a 67, needs to be saved.
The passenger fuel tank was a common owner conversion that goes back to the '73/'74 Oil Crisis, if your old enough to remember that.

I did not get the serial number.

I know the Tuxedo Parks are rare and thus never really interested me. I agree that rare vehicles need to be preserved.

For preservation in this case would a replacement body be acceptable? I know I don't have the skills or interest to try and save that body, that's why I mentioned a flat fender conversion.
If all the Tuxedo Park items were saved it could be rebuilt later with the proper style of body.

If anybody here is interested I'd be happy to be the go between with the seller and meeting the shipper to get it sent off.

Actually, by east coast standards, that body tub is not that bad looking. I've rebuilt far worse than what this looks like.
If this one weren't 3/4 of the way (or more) across the Country, I'd be interested in saving it.
Anyone heading from Nevada to south Florida with an empty trailer (joking)?
