    Some sizes are available in the big box store drawers, or maybe at your local Ace.

    Certainly in the 50s, a heater was an option for the more spartan vehicles like pickups and inexpensive cars. Kaiser did not change much over the years; possible you could find the dealer sales brochures from your locale and era and find out. I'd guess it remained optional through the end of the Kaiser years, but no sensible dealership would order cars for the lot without the optional heater.
