1975 Steering Columm Tube Repair

    Just grind the inside with a die grinder and a carbide bit until the bushing got in :)

    I had a buddy make me a brass one the same dimensions as the stock one. You can get plastic ones on ebay but they want $25 bucks for them (too much imho).

    Do you have any pics of the bearing that you installed. Both of my bearings are shot on both ends. Looking for a good solution.

    Check out Vintage Jeep Parts in Beasley, Texas, he has new, made in USA steering column tube assemblies for sale. 4130 Chromoly tubing. very nice.
