Looking at the parts book, there is a Ditzler code for 1976 of 14688. This matches the spray can I linked to above. There is also a blue poly (metallic) listed DQE13730, but in my experience that's wrong for a '76. If you want, your local automotive paint store can mix up a quart or spray cans for you - I expect it won't be cheap.

JMO - I have found the Ace spray cans to be of excellent quality. If it were mine, I'd go to the hardware store and pick a couple cans of a color I liked and use that. Spray Paint - Ace Hardware

I am a little confused as to what you are looking for, the blue for a '73 CJ5? , or the blue engine color used on most of the early AMC engines up to about '74? The later AMC engine paint was non- metallic as Tim posted.
The early metallic blue engine paint is available in 12oz spray cans, Seymour Hi-Tech Engine Coating, AMC Blue, code EN66. The cap also has "300 5001B".
As far as the exterior color for a "SuperJeep" in blue, that was just the same blue as any other '73 CJ5.
    Welcome from South Florida!
