Anybody have any luck finding replacements for the original plastic spark plug wire separators that slip on to the metal tabs on the top of the valve covers?

I did see a pic of some on the NAPA web site that looked the same. I just typed in ''spark plug wire dividers'' on their search bar. Both the wire dividers and dividers with the post for valve cover tang in the same pic. Not sure they are exactly like the jeep 304 ones but would be worth checking out.

Pretty much moot for me. I use the Summit 8mm silicon wire sets (I have HEI-style distributor terminals), and I believe they will not fit into the factory wire looms. They come with separators. There are lots of aftermarket loom kits that will fit the 8mm silicon wires; the only question is what to do with the tabs on the valve covers.

Maybe this is something that could be duplicated with a 3d printer.

Yeah possibly, the under hood heat may soften a printed one.

3180107 was the common part number at 1-19/32" wide.
    3186116 is also shown ( 1981 and later V8) at 2-23/32" wide.
Maybe the 2nd number above could be located ?

Wanted to share this in case anyone else was looking for some that would resemble the originals on the early 304. I ordered Dorman HELP! Product 40290 spark plug wire retainer and it was perfect. Slid right on the original tab.
