Yep - I had a 1-pc 'glass front end on my old CJ5 - mounted to the stock hood hinges to flip back.

I ended up cutting off the bottom ~ 8" of fenders and bolting those to the tub. Otherwise the inner fenders would also hit the tires coming up. Actually once I installed power brakes I had to cut a large hole in the inner fender to allow clearance for the master cylinder.

I left the grill on and put tie-downs from the frame rails up to just under the marker lights.

What I wanted to do but never dared was slice the front clip down the middle lengthwise and butterfly it up like an old hot rod...
