53 3b.... One way to test if your throw out bearing lever will dis-engage the clutch at all.. is , to disconnect the cable, use a small hydraulic jack or a strong clamp and or lever and push or pull the throw out bearing fork lever, ALL the Way back until it hits the edge of the opening in the bell housing.... then start the engine....this will tell you if the clutch lever, or pivot point, or fork on bearing is wrong.... if it won't release when the fork lever is at it's maximum travel then the problem is inside the bell housing .....

With the clutch cable adjusted tight (zero free play,,and some ),, the clutch will disengage,, I just don’t have enough peddle throw to have free play and disengage the clutch when the peddle is fully depressed,,, I would need a longer pedal ,,, but it appears the clutch/throw out bearing/pivot has a mechanical issue requiring additional throw

I just went through this on a ‘69 (V6/T14). My replacement release bearing was too short at ~1.5”OAL so I didn’t have enough throw with my fork.
Got the correct bearing at 1.82” (with carrier) OAL and whamo! Clutch releases now.

I don’t know what the difference may be for your T90 but I would guess it could be similar.

My original “new” release bearing came with the clutch kit. That was the one that was too short.

If yours came with the clutch kit, maybe the same issue?

Well we still don’t know what specific bell housing and what adapter your using.
On a normal dauntless the clutch release bearing carrier is 1.609 oal and if certain clutch components are not standard you may be required to use a different oal release carrier bearing assembly.
It’s not feasible to recommend any specific carrier bearing without knowing what you currently have installed.
