I'm curious about which plugs you'all use in your Hurricane? I've tried Champions J8C without much success(seem to fuel foul easy), just bought some AC Delco R45s but haven't tried them yet- all comments welcome. :hurrican:

For as long as I can remember I've heard Champions foul easily. I'm trying Autolites #295, too soon to know any results. :hurrican: and Super :hurrican:

I run the delco R45's and they seem to run pretty good before I foul them out. My problem isn't with the plugs, but I have a huge oil burning problem that shortens the life span of the plugs. Bad rings?, valves?...

Listen to Billy. He helped me out with my solex. Runs pretty good now. You do have to let it warm up.

That's why I voted to get the F-head running before putting the Solex on. We've actually purchased a pair of Solex's now. (One for each Tux.) Thanks for the tip. We'll keep that in mind.

That is a good tip. I will warm up the engine before adjusting my solex. Thanks.
