You might want to call them up if you haven't already and see if anyone answers. Then the usual social media.

Maybe talk them into something special.

'72-73 Commando rear axle is a flanged Dana 44 and should bolt in.

'82-86 is widetrack, yours would be narrow track.

Thinking about it, '70-71 Jeepster should work too. In both cases, you'll likely have to change the gears. '72-75 CJ would work if you move the spring pads.

Nope, the Jeepster/Commando never got the M20. The Commando was discontinued for 1974. Some early models got the 30, but I believe it was gone by '70.
There were no optional axles for the CJs.
    pre-70: tapered 44
    70ish-75: flanged 44
    76-on: M20

Well as with everything I do, this isn't easy.
Currie only offers gear ratios 3.50 gears or 3.73 and of course I've got 3.54 which means I would have to change my front axle gears, That is if they were willing to do in narrow track$$$
Ebay has nothing right now, and Jegs and summit Give me hundreds of axles but no flange to flange measurements .
    I'll keep looking

Well this is par for the course
they will put it on a pallet but I have to arrange pickup and delivery
That would not be a problem if I was still in PA but from California it's more difficult
    or more $$$

Right track width but the springs pads are too far inward for you. A Jeepster has outboarded rear springs which match the '76 up, as I understand.
