While working on my '79 Orville hardtop I began to search for replacement parts. Yesterday I posted about the replacement exterior locking handles. Well I found that the A.L.Hansen Maufacturing(www.alhansen.com) stocks many replacement parts for these tops. The interior door latch/locks match up with their #56 Cab Lock ( http://www.alhansen.com/pdfs/cat103/cat103_pg021.pdf) and the #55 lock( http://www.alhansen.com/pdfs/cat103/cat103_pg020.pdf ) is basically the same but also available in stainless. I believe the optional inside override is the interior lock. It looks as though the center section of the #94 door lock is the replacement for my rear latch(the rods are reversed from mine but I don't see that as a problem) and I think the #105 Lock Kit may be the same as the other style rear latch but I'll have to take some measurements at my dads to confirm it. They have several of these style latch/lock kits http://www.alhansen.com/prd_lockkit.html . Their Manual Door Support Arms http://www.alhansen.com/pdfs/cat103/cat103_pg097.pdf (Part #263099) are the same dimensions as both the Atwood supports and Jedco supports that are in my tops rear hatches but have one slightly different bracket(which I don't think would be a problem either). I think these parts could easily be adapted to other brand hardtops also and I am going to see if I can match up some of the parts for our flat fenders Arctic hardtop. Hope this helps out some of the other guys with the old hardtops!:)

Which brackets do you need? I could possibly make some patterns and pictures so you could fabricate some brackets.

the hinges.. just like the ones you have mounted on the bottom corners of your windshield frame. i also need the bottoms. i might even need windshield channels but i don't think so. it seemed everything matched up when i held the door to my tub. The guy i bought the cab and doors from won't sell me the hinges. He says it will mess up his paint if he removed them. I have been forum crawling for days here and Jeep Forum. I'm starting to get really worried that I can't find them, I've even tried contacting Meyer Products Inc. to see if they could point me in the right direction. I'm really exited about putting this top on. I am applying Fibertron to the interior to quiet it down and make it look great. i should be finished with it this week.

I can go check out FnJeep here in the Springs. They have piles of stuff. I may get lucky. They can be costly so PM me phone numbers of the individuals needing hardware and pics just to make sure I am looking for the right stuff. All I ask is if I find something you pay me what I paid plus shipping expenses.

I believe these are Meyers parts. They looked like the ones I had. Are these the part numbers needed? Anyone else let me know if you need small part items.

The SE means "special equipment" and I presume you could order these parts through the regular Jeep parts department ordering system by that number. I expect these numbers are meaningless now without Jeep corporation help (ie the long-gone parts order department) to map them into the suppliers part numbers and deliver them.

I have some lower hinges here I can take the dimensions from. Theyt should be very simple to fabricate. I don't think the uppers would be hard to make either.'76-'83 style upper brackets are different from '75 and earlier(shown above) either should be simple to fab up.
Kiowamtp where did you get that illustration? Do you have any others dealing with these tops that you can share?

I got that illustration off the internet, maybe even from someone on this forum. When I see something I can use I click and save. That is the only one like it I have.

It's from the Jeep company parts catalog. In the day, Jeep parts departments used these catalogs to look up parts for customers. What they did not stock, they could order through Jeep Corporation. Way back when, I put away a lot of these parts orders.
