Bestop Trektop NX on the LJ

    Installed a Trektop NX on my LJ this weekend. The fit is really tight (it should replax a bit over the next couple of weeks). Very little wind noise in the cabin. There are 2 bow that get installed with it. One over the driver/passenger and one at the rear of the main top. This keeps the top from popping while driving down the road. It should even keep it from poping when then the side and rear windws are out of it.

    The top itself has the same fold back capability as the stock top. Basically a sun roof over the driver/front seat passenger.

    I was half way through installing it yesterday evening when the temps dropped into the 50s and basically made it pointless to continue. I finished fitting it all today about 11:30. Overall, I am happy with the product. I like that is uses the roll bars as the frame instead of the the weak top frame that comes from the factory. It gives it a low profile sleak look.

    Looks good. I'd like to get one myself for the summer. I have a Bestop half top, but I can't loose the back seat.

    Should be a factory option, IMHO. We like ours a lot. Running it as a bikini at the moment.

    I took the windows off today. The top is really quiet without them.
