Nice job on the cheese-its! Yes, I am in low range. My yard is small. I use low range all the time. I removed the interlock pill so I can use 2wd-low. its a clutch's best friend when backing up trailers or putting around the yard. The diesel with the heavy flywheel makes it even better!

Well.... The jeep is 99% done. Just waiting on shocks. Exhaust is done and mounted. even went on a 3 mile test run! It worked suprisingly well for the first run! No shakes or shimmys. Had her up to 45mpg which was about 2500 rpm. I will post a video once I have a decent one. Here is the exhaust system. Its 2" 304ss.

Let me just say this thing has some giddy-up! 15lbs of boost and a little whistle and 45mph comes quickly.

Yup you are correct. Its a digital tach. The turn signal mount was the most discreet/visible place I could come up with.

Well, I have driven it 32 miles without much drama. I took a load to the recycle center, and buzzed around back roads near my house. It runs great so far. It really feels and sounds like an old willys until hit the throttle. It pulls hard and straight. Im also pleased that my mixed matched t-90 shifts great and doesn't pop out of second gear. My shocks came today. I went with KYB. They were cheap and look/fit just fine.

Got some bugs in my teeth!

So far the only issues have been a fuel leak at the sending unit, and a spongy break pedal. I done a lot of work to get all the air out....not im wondering if the MC was never setup correctly. It was new but installed. I get a squirt in the reservoir when I push the pedal. Doesn't that mean the rod needs lengthened? I have used my mighty vac and the conventional method to bleed.

I'm no expert about the brake systems, but it does sound like its possible the plunger may be too far rearward for it to be squirting back up to the reservoir and then getting pressure down the lines after the squirt stops.

Guessing the squirt isn't there after you start to feel good pedal pressure?

Could you try to temporarily hold the brake pedal down with a cable tie or something to the point where the squirt doesn't happen or is minimised and see if that helps identify if it is the culprit?

May prevent a stripping down of brake system if a simple stopper on the pedal fixes the problem, so long as it leaves you with enough pedal movement.

That small squirt of fluid back up into the reservoir is normal. It occurs as the piston is just about to cover the fill hole. There should be a small amount of free play between the push rod and piston to allow the piston to completely retract in the bore.

Your rear brakes are probably the issue with he spongy pedal. Mess around with them. I had fits of problems with my rear disk setup similar to you until I went Full Float, then I just used the same stuff as front and all the brake issues went away. It was some minor alignment of the mount and disk..

Order the headlight trim rings!! your 2a looks about perfect!
