I have disliked for the past 25 years how the shop that installed my stereo system did their work. With the head unit in the glove compartment they ran the wires across the underside of the dash, out the hole in the firewall near the brake booster, up over the booster, sistered it up to the engine compartment wiring to the battery and back to the tool box where the stereo compartment is.

I also recently had a MSD ignition installed and the shop basically slapped the wiring in. With my recent removal of my heater (we live in Texas!) I have a lot more room to work with under the dash.

I got a dual post battery so I could hide some power wires in the back and re-wired the stereo.

I also removed the engine wiring harness from the firewall, drilled a hole in the firewall right behind the engine and ran the wires under the dash.

I did not like how the headlight wiring harness went into the hole up on the firewall. I drilled a hole near where the headlight high beam switch is, soldred on an extra foot onto all of the wires for the harness and ran the the wires down low through a hole on the firewall and up through the hole I drilled ( grommeted the hole).

Almost done with the wiring project. One of the last items is adding a cover on the underside if the dash to hide some wiring.

If anyone can clue me in on how to add pics from my iPad I’ll post some. I click the link too add but it says no pictures available....?

    Next...install my Patriot headers!!

Go into the Media, then click your Media. It will open up and you can choose pics from your photo gallery in your iPad (or iPhone) and upload them into your new gallery album. Then when posting, click on the camera icon and it will open up the pics you saved in your album. Click on which photos you want to add.
