could one of you guys here tell me if there are any differences in the clutch pedal arm , buddy just put 55 tub back on frame , jeep didn't have the floor mounted pedals when he started restoration . so parts were acquired . cross shaft/brake pedal/clutch pedal/support plate . as he went along working on tub and cleaning and painting frame . the pedal arm that he got won't line up with hole in floor . and I don't have anything to compare to . one on my jeep is straight just like the one he got . need some help here . number on arm A405

That's what came off my late 60's roller frame. Repop body or floor pan?

Someone else can chime in here but, I'm thinking they were different between the 4 cylinder and the V6. One bent and one straight. Foggy memory keeps me from being more helpful.

There is a slight difference for the v6 brake pedal. Not for the clutch that I'm aware of. BFH mods the 4 cyl brake pedal easily enough

My (admittedly limited) 1973 parts book shows #A-405 for all 4-cylinder, and same for 225 V-6
    (CJ5)

    232 and 258 straight-six and 304 V8 show as #5350819.

ok seems to be same pedal arm , could the cross shaft be different . this one seems to be too short . the reason why pedal wont fit. if it just barley slides on shaft to line up with hole in floor . floor was not cut in this area for any repairs

Straight 6 and V8 would both be swinging pedals, not through the floor like on ecj5.

    Sorry for my misinformation above.
