    225 V6, T-14, Advance adapter chain linkage

Just about to get my project on the road this week. Moving around the yard yesterday I notice if I pushed the clutch in all the way there is some grinding noise and hardly shifts at all. At about half way on the pedal it shifts quiet and freely. The out side end seems to be adjusted well - fully engaging when I'm off the pedal.
    Anyone experience this issue?

Sounds to me like you are over traveling the clutch fingers to the point that they are contacting the disc. I would try loosening up the linkage a little bit

Drove to work today, Its only 3+ miles.
First drive on the State Hwy.
Easily shifted by using just half the clutch.
I'll try adjusting it out a bit next time I'm under there.
Thanks for the input, I'll report again after adjustment.

Do you have multiple holes drilled in your clutch pedal arm? If so you may have a hole closer to the pivot point. That would lower your pedal effort and release bearing travel distance. I played with this on my cable setup for a little bit. It doesn't seem like much but it is a factor in travel and pedal effort.

I'll look for that as well. This would be a great fix as there is really a lot more travel in the pedal than necessary. Thanks

As close as possible to the pivot will get you the softest pedal.
