I am trying to figure out all my loose wires under the dash. I have this wire coming off my light mounted under the dash (light might only be found on the convertible). It is a black wire with a yellow stripe. I can't seem to figure out where it terminates. The end is corroded so it has not been attached for a while. Any help is appreciated. dash light 1.jpg

Thanks. I was able to find a wiring diagram yesterday afternoon that showed that wire goes to the door switches. But thanks for responding. I could use your help with another question I have. I am trying to figure out where exactly the rear convertible deck lid supports go in relation to the deck lid. The body shop welded in new pieces of metal and cannot figure out where the supports bolt on. If you are able to take a picture of the support in relation to the lid that would be very helpful.

I was wondering if you were ever able to look at your Jeepster and look at the deck lid and supports? I have no idea where they supports bolt on and would appreciate any help possible. I also have a few other wiring questions, that maybe you can help me with. I have a number of wires that are loose and I am not sure where they attach. It's possible they attach to the other terminal on the relay in the picture, I just don't know. One of the wires in the bunch has a pigtail on it so I know that won't go to the terminal. wiring relay 1.jpg

Thanks. I was able to figure out where the deck lid supports go-in front of the deck lid which seems odd-but any help with the wiring would be a great help. The shop that painted it was supposed to put the wiring back but they never finished the job

That rectangle piece is a circuit breaker. The 3 red wires should go on the empty post. When I wired mine I wasn't sure what the brown wire with the bullet connector was for, there was noting to connect it to. I think it might have connected to the courtesy light harness. I took a picture of mine but still can't post them, but can email it to you if you want.

Emailing would be great, my email address is jleeds@avc.edu. I have two other wiring issues that maybe you can help me with. The yellow wire running form the heater motor to the the ignition switch has a second yellow wire attached to it. My diagram doesn't show a second yellow wire, any ideas? And the light switch has a circuit breaker next to it, red wire running to the other circuit breaker. What wire goes on the other post? I'm at the point I might just put a new wire harness in this to make sure everything is correct, but I hate it that I can't figure this out.

As for your light switch there is only the red wire to the circuit breaker, the other side of the breaker connects to the switch itself. Not sure about the second yellow wire on the heater, but I'll get under my dash and look, will also take some pics while I'm under there and send them to you.

The wires that come from your heater motor should have a fused yellow wire that goes to the ignition switch and the rest should terminate to a plug that attaches to your heater fan switch. At least thats how mine is wired. When I wired my C101 I had 4 wiring harnesses from different years, they all had their differences. The second yellow wire sounds like a tap to supply power to something else.

Hey Jackdog, thanks for all your help! I was wondering if the extra wire went to the non-existent radio as it looks like it was never attached to anything. And thanks for the help with the circuit breaker. Hoping to try and start the Jeepster this weekend.
