    does anybody know the size of the water port opening where the temp sensor goes in?

    I need to get a reducer..

    searched and found that... i just cant believe its 3/8 NPT...
    i don't think that's correct

    my issue is i need to find an adapter..
    trying to retain the stock land rover sender 5/8 UNF
    i have a feeling the dauntless manifold opening is 1/2 NPT..

    should be that easy.... in theory...

    ahh ok.. were talking different ports..

    the one close to the thermostat housing... i have a coolant line back there..

    Pretty sure that it's 1/2" NPT (pipe thread).
    Remember that pipe thread size have nothing to do with the actual thread size, a 1/2 pipe thread is probably close to 1" diameter.
