What steering are you going with? I see a hole in the crossmember for a Saginaw setup but no mount on the frame.

Looks great. I have three questions. Did you straighten it at home? If so how? Why did you decide to strap and not box?
I'm trying to come up with a plan for mine.

That looks nice. The Red really makes the frame detail easy to see.

Thanks guys. I did straighten it at home and have some pics I can share you might find the method a little crude but I managed to get the results I was hoping for, as for the decision to strap rather than box that was easy. Looked for years for the right jeep project every newer boxed factory frame had rotting problems but the older c channel frames were in much better shape. The sides of my frame looked to be in great shape so being a 3/16 frame I strapped it with the same. I also 3/16 plated the front crossmember and wrapped it onto The strapping. The two motor mounts were cut free and re welded to the new strapping My front and rear shackle mounts were junk as were the shock mounts so it was easy to weld new ones onto the new steel. All in all I am very happy with how it turned out

Things are going together well. Waiting on a few parts but all the running gear is fitted up. Body mounts fabricated and will be installed this week. Hope to mount the tub before the end of the month. Time to decide on front discs or not.

Mine didn’t seem to reach anything that made sense. Ended up hooking to rear body support. Looks and works great.
    Look here.

There is a thread on here that answers that exact question. I’ll do a search.
