any further news on the front axle install?
I wish I had more news on it. The frame is getting the new spring hangers installed tomorrow! Some progress but a ways off of driving it.
cool keep us posted on how you deal with the wider spring pads with cj spring
I going full Roxor on the springs as well. Project creep!!!
Wonder how those compare to yj springs? Can you measure width when you get a chance?
They are the same width as a Samurai spring, that is what I used for mounts.
There is a guy on teamroxor that makes bolt on brackets to use YJ springs. I know none of them are exactly the right length but arent too too far off.
Finally some forward progress. M38 frame with Roxor 44 and Roxor front springs.
What are you gonna run in the rear?
A offset flanged 44 that is converted to true 30 spline full floater on yj springs. It is mocked up with Re 1.5" but I think it will go to stock yj.
Didnt know you could full float a flanged axle
The spindle has to be drilled a little different to match the flange on end of tubing.
Right on, that’ll be a neat setup!
