Can someone help me with a list of parts I need for headlights on a '55 CJ? I have the buckets, inner bucket, retaining rim, bezel and light but no hardware. Is it just sheet metal screws holding the bucket on to the grill? Springs, adjusting knobs, etc are all needed I guess. Pictures would help. Thanks

You might try looking at Walcks website or give them a call, they can usually get you dialed in.
    Or do an internet search.

I've done internet searches as well as searching this forum with no luck besides finding the right size screws to attach the buckets to the grill. Those are attached bu need info on how to attach the bowl to the bucket and headlight to the bowl. The past 2 days I've called Walcks but keep forgetting they're on a different timezone and end up calling after hours.

From what I've gathered so far, I'll need 2 springs each side and 2 headlight adjusting screws. Not sure what else

If you have any U-Pull yards around, and they have cars/trucks from the '70s and earlier, many of these older cars have the parts you need. Each bucket should have 2 adjuster screws and a spring to mate the bulb holder to the main bucket. There is a stainless ring that retains the bulb to the bulb holder.

I believe there is only one spring and two adjusting screws. The screws are reproduced. The 'nut' that the screws go into is nylon or plastic and is often stripped. You can tack in a steel nut pretty easily if the plastic ones are toast. Let me go rummage around and take a few pics for you. I have just finished painting my buckets, will look for the mounting to grill hardware as well.

You are correct, just sheet metal screws that hold the main bucket to the grill, 4 screws with star washers. The ring that hold the bulb to the inner bucket has three screws and they are machine screws, pretty sure they are 8-32. Didn't measure, but will attach close up next to rule. The beauty ring is held in by a longer 8-32 machine screw.
