I'm working on a '70 CJ-5, trying to get the heater working. I took the heat exchanger apart and sand blasted and painted the case. I didn't listen to advice and have the core checked. It leaks after plumbing the core into coolant loop. In any case, I need to connect the cable from the dashboard to the flap arm. What kind of connector is used to connect the cable? Any idea where I can get one?

No connector. The wire is looped about 2 turns and just sits on the rod. The stabilizing bracket holds it in place.

^^ If that's what you're after, I think our Ace here in Post Falls has something like that. I'll look next time I'm in there. They have a ton of oddball stuff like that. Is that like a 3/16" rod?

3/16" is exactly what it is. Let me know if you see something in Ace. Thanks!
