I have this cute little 4cyl Hercules engine for sale. It turns over, and I don't think it will take much to get it running. Has magneto and electric starter. I think it is 10hp, but not sure on that. Its from the mid to late 20's I think. Only issue it has is the radiator cap pipe needs to get re-soldered to the radiator. Asking $250 OBO. Can deliver to any shows that I attend.

    Cute!

I built a wood-splitter with a six-cylinder Hercules. That engine is a champion, runs smooth and steady as if it will live forever.

Looks like yours has a mechanical governor similar to mine, which is really nice to have.

    How big is that engine?

It’s 27” long from the front of the radiator to the back sprocket.
