That's a good point, my next Jeep will be running, I make progress on my projects when I get time to work on them, but welding up the tub is taking a long time, too hot in the Summer, too busy with work in the Fall. I need one I can drive while I'm working on the other two.
Up your budget and get a better Jeep will probably save money in the long run.

Within rounding margins. But add the 3 zeros. Unfortunately.

I bought my CJ5 in 2011, was running in 2012, repaired again in 2013 (gearbox) and in 2016 (transfer case leak, brakes).
Works with pleasure until now, that is so nice. Not sure to be ready to spend more money on it, to sell it comes some times in my mind but what to do without an old CJ5?

Money sure goes quick, and generally in large amounts when redoing our Jeeps don't it? I know I went through my fair share. :)
