I found a jeepster commando with manual saginaw steering. I am thinking of taking the steering box, double hole passenger side knuckle, drag link, and tie rod. Will I be able to use all these parts when converting my '60 CJ5 to saginaw steering? I know the box will work (it's about 6.5 turns lock to lock). I know the double hole knuckle will work. I imagine the tie rod would work cus the axle is the same width as whats under my jeep. Will the drag link be the right length too?

You should be able to use use all of those parts, only thing i can think of is the V6 knuckle maybe differnt if it is the original knuckle, it will probably bolt on but i am not sure if you are supposed to have a 4 cyl and 6 cyl knuckle mixed on an axle. The tie rods and everything should be fine. The mount will still require you to box your cj5 frame, and again i am not sure about the jeepster steering mount. my 72 had the crossmember style mount like a CJ, the jeepster you have may have that styel so you will have to find a way to mount the box, if it has the frame rail style mount then you are in good shape.
