On the 58, I've got a model 41 Koenig and will be going to Ramsey 246. The Ramsey has the joint right out of the winch with the 3/4" shaft torched off from whoever removed it. The Koenig did not come with a joint, but it appears to be 1". What is the correct joint I should have there? I assume a 3/4" shaft is the right size.

Do whatever works. ¾ shaft is plenty strong.

You can get a joint with different ends, or I just sleeved one end and pinned it (instead of a key).

I used a 7/8 inch shaft that came with a keyway cut the fiull length. Purchased a 6 foot piece, was enough for the everything. When changing from different shaft diameter, just use the correct yoke size for each shaft. As long as the ujoint fits each yoke, everything will work.

So what I've found in searching is the apparently the Koenig was the 1" with 1/4" key way out to a 7/8" shaft, the Ramsey apparently used a 3/4" shaft vs the Koenig using a 7/8". So I guess I need to decide which size shaft and then go somewhere to get an odd combination joint. Or get the 7/8 shaft and have a machine shop turn one end down to the 3/4 and cut a key slot.

Started a thread with parts numbers, when I did my PTO shaft. I used some parts from some drive shafts I had and purchased new parts.
