Behind the column on my '62. Not a good pic, but you get the idea. I can get a better one of you want. :)

Seems we know where the decal goes, generally, but do we know the exact coordinates? Left/right versus up/down?
For instance, how far right of the edge of the dashboard on the driver’s side and how far up from the bottom, or how far down from the top. I’d really like to know.

Did the factory in Toledo follow a consistent and precise directive on where to put the decal?

Maybe we can turn this thread into a poll and get some real facts for the restoration buffs.

    There's nothing precise about a jeep. :D

I doubt they were applied in exactly the same place on any two jeeps, Tonk's was crooked.

I agree, no two in same spot. Here’s an example, Nov. ‘70 build.

It’s a start and something to go by at least. (y)

But if, say, we find out through informal polling that the original decals are all in the same area and within 2 to 3” of each other (for example) horizontally and vertically, that would still be pretty good info.

On my Sixty, it is direct above the steering column approximately 2 inches above the notch for the column. The transfercase sticker is adjacent to the transmission sticker on it's right side.
