Lower Rear Spring Plate Nut Size

    My 68 cj5 rear lower spring plate where the shock bolts onto broke, the nut that is,so I have a new one and they dont come with a nut does anyone know the size of nut I need I believe it's fine thread

    Take stud to auto parts store to match up. Without knowing source may be same, or different pitch than stock.
    Could check it against other side and take that nut to aps to match up.

    On my ‘61 the nuts were 7/16” fine thread.
