Box frame is complete, next enclose it and put a latch system on.
Ok to resurrect my build thread, I've gone thru and tried to replace pic that are missing, I didn't get them all but I got the important ones. And here are a few pic's to bring things up to date.
the trailer hitch added and 12V outlets in sides
Next is a series showing how I setup onsite.
Next project will be to add water.
Now THAT'S a rooftop tent! I like it!
OK, now that the wife's planter is finished, time to start on the trailer
I got the 10 gallon tank mounted underneath, plumbing will be tomorrow
I installed this 15 gallon tank many many years ago. Has held up well. Same location as yours.
Made my straps. Have a RV SurFlo pump and small lawn mower battery in a box on front of trailer. Just charge it up before the trip. Battery only operates the water pump.
Tank didn't cost that much when I bought mine from Coast RV Supplies.
I cut the floor out of the tent over the trailer portion so you can stand up and not touch the ceiling, or sit on the bed with your feet on the floor.
I got the plumbing finished, and pump installed. It's not wired yet but I'm almost there.
My daughter and I went camping the last week in August, and en route to the camp site I noticed the trailer seamed to bottom out. So, While I am waiting for parts to arrive to start my twin stick conversion, I thought I would give the trailer a lift.
Yes I know the left spring is not straight, I beat it into submission after I noticed it in this pic.
The dog said she was to busy sunning to help!
