A bit of a milestone, the windshield is finally on

    Mirror from Walcks

Also got the original grill back on

Anyone know the thread size on the grill supports ?

Also have to figure out why the drivers side is an inch lower than the pass side. Frame is even, so it's body related, any suggestions ??

Did you mount that hand brake yet? I have the same one and I'm not exactly sure where to put it. If I mounted to the bottom of the dash there is about 3/4" sticking out from under the dash (that will surely cut my knee open).

IDK the answer to this. Is the bar across the top of the battery supposed to go to the rear instead of toward the battery posts? It's metal and could short?

My bar was not installed when I got my 70. I installed it like this.[IMG]

    Everything looks great btw.

I thought the same but won't fit that way. The support is about 3/8" from the posts

Awesome. Soon you will be out having fun in your jeep. The nuts on my radiator support rods take a 9/16" wrench and the thread on the rod 3/8"-24 (Diameter/Thread Size). Hope this helps. Each rod has two and they both come with a star washer attached to the nut.

FWIW I went outside and looked and it appears we both have a group 24 F battery.

That photo has some nice battery cables.

The shift decal location varies considerably depending on year (or month!). Most are around where yours is, but sometimes they are on the outside, or even inside the glove box door!
Your Jeep is looking really good!
