I REALLY like these cooper pro stt pro radials. Found them in the flat fender post on hear.
    Also like swampers?
Ok with spending 400$ or slightly more?
The coopers are almost twice that much?
    My requirements!
15 x 8 jeep wagon wheels (oem off something?).
    Mostly farm, and trail use!
Like something slightly narrow than my current 20 year old 32 x 11:50 mud tires( dry rot, hard).
Figuring on the new soft ,more aggressive, going in soup, mud, better than what I've got?
Don't want to give up any height, but narrower would look better?
I know this dead horse has been beat to death, but how bout some help.
Very little on road usage! Need them to last another 15 years+.
Open to suggestions on how to keep them fresh, some kind of uv protectent, or rubber dressing?
But first I've got to decide on what to buy?
The coopers on the flat fender section look GREAT,
    All replies welcome?
Would like some more budget friendly?
But I also realize ,I'll forget the high price, but I won't forget poor quality?
    Help!
    Swampers are also high?
Any budget tire out their to look at?
My current tires, with 18psi measure 30.5 tall, 11in wide.
    Need closer to 9.5 width?
    Thanks all!

I like 33x10.5 - the new BFG KM3 looks good to me (I am running the previous KM2 and do like it). I would think given the lack of hard road driving you do, a pair of bias ply swampers would be good. Those often come in taller-narrower options.

    Is their a metric size that's 31ish tall, and 9ish wide x15 ?
    I can't find less than 10-11 50 , with the 31 height?

You could go down to a 30x9.50-15.
My dad has 265/75/15 tires on his CJ, but that's a really oddball size.

I used the TireRack search engine and could not find anything that narrow and tall on a 15" wheel. You could go 30x9.5-15, lots of those, or a 16" wheel expands your options a lot.

Destination MT in 30x9.5-15 are surprisingly cheap www.tirerack.com - won't let me post the direct link ... sorry, looks like they are gone. There are other 30x9.5-15s in similar tread, but about $40 more.

Interco currently has 8 31X10.50-15 IROK ND on their cosmetic blemished site for $115 each right now. Shipping will add a few dollars, but still a bunch cheaper than through the catalog. The Blem List | Interco Tire

I have a set of 30x9.50-15 BFG KM3 on my stock 15x5.5 rims and they are awesome. They run very smooth. They do sell it in a 235/75-15 which is a little narrower than the 9.50 but the tire is also a little shorter. Link: BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 Tire I bought mine from Tire Rack because they had a $100 BFG rebate (y)

    Here are a few pics.

I got these 30 x 9.50 x 15 Mud Claw Extreme about a year ago for around $400 out the door mounted, balanced & new valve stems. They are alleged to be made by Cooper.

Here they are next to the stock tires.

Here they are in between the stock tires and the 33 x 12.50 x 15 that are on my 3B.
The 2 that are not installed look a little taller in this picture without the vehicle weight on them.

    Thanks all!
    Probably ant no wrong answer?
My local bargain barn tire has a set of the old pattern coolers in 30 x 950 (29.57) tall
    For 500$ out the door?
He also has a set of Cooper 31 x 1050 (30.75) in New design for 555$ out the door.
    Both mounted and balanced.
I really like the looks of the 9.50s.
But I feel the 10.50s would probably go better in mud, and slightly more ground clearence?
Anyone ever run 950s in front, aired up.
And 1050s in rear aired down to match diameter?
    Again thanks all!

The diameter won’t change by airing up or down get a matched set.

    ^this.

9.50 vs. 10.50 is the width of the tread, not the height. And height doesn't equal circumference. A higher and a lower psi tire of the same manufactured height will have the same general rolling circumference, just a greater contact patch on the lower one.

I have to disagree! I remember an article in an old jeep, or 4x4 magazine, years back. They did just that, don't remember the point in the read but they put 1in narrow and shorter tires on front, then aired them up, and the rear down until they measured same on ground.
Then they went wheeling. This was done to keep the ring gears turning the same speed.
I'm sure the footprint would differ. Just thought a lighter, narrower tire on front would improve steering, and 4x4 atv s look good with big rear and little front , they also have different ratios front and rear to compensate. Just a thought? I ant doing it!

beware of using "old" design tires unless you check the manufacture date cast into the rubber sidewall inside an elongated oval patch. I was offered a discontinued pattern and the tires were 7 yrs old! This becomes especially important when the jeep won't be used much and tires may be on it for 4 or more years longer.
I paid just a little more and installed new design built 3 months prior to install.

Already looked, their 2015s kept in warehouse out of sun.
    I'll probably get the 31 x 10.50s.
But he volunteered to mount 1 of ea and then let me chose?
The new tread is a tad more aggressive, I like playing in mud?
    Best time I ever had, my neighbor had a 360 , turbo 400 powered 77 cj6 or 7?
We were playing around on the farm, cl8mbing greasy hills after a bunch of rain.
He had brand new 32 x 1150 aggressive mud tires, I had my 20 year old 3/4 tread wild country mud tires.
We hit a long grassy wet pasture, cow tromped hill.
I cralled up without hardly spinning a tire, he bout blew that 360 up, threw rooster tails, 20ft high,
And he still didn't make to top? Dug 8in deep ruts.
After that he shut up bout his 600$ tires, and stoped nagging me bout a ww2 technology , 70hp willys! LOL

Wider tires in the rear can add the benefit of having a fresh bite when maximum traction is needed and narrower tires in front are needed for maximum steering ability.

    Decided on 31 x 10.50 x 15. Mud claws.
He sold them cheaper than the best e Bay price, then, wire brushed the wheels,
used liq bead sealer cause I told him I ran them aired down some, then ballenced them also.
They measure 1/4 in taller than what I took off, and the lug part of the width is 1in narrower.
I like the look, now for a field test?
