oil leaking around one intake bolt on a 304

    Anyone ever had oil leaking around intake bolts on a 304 ? I have a 74 with a 304 and oil is leaking just around one bolt . Any ideas on how th stop it ? thanks

    Welcome to the board. Introduce yourself in the introduction section and we really like pictures.

    The leaky intake bolt should be removed and clean all the oil off the bolt and the threads in the head, the apply some type of sealer(Permatex #2 is my preference) and reinstall the bolt. The oil is being pushed out by pressure in the crankcase, or blowby, if it is excessive it will find somewhere else to get out and you may have another leak show up.
