IMG_2538.JPG I am rebuilding a T90C Need opinions on if I should re-use/replace this cluster. The area shown is the worst part of the cluster. I have nos parts for everything but the cluster. There is a guy on ebay that has nos "tyco" cluster coming out of Turkey. Its either that or Omix. Your advice is greatly appreciated!!

Somewhere on here, I read the guy from Turkey wasn't bad. No dealings with him though. I have delt with Omix . Not the best.

Pulling into first before stopping does that. Let the Jeep completely stop before shifting into first. You can pull into first while still rolling with a little practice, but it's not for beginners. Best not to do it. I would go to WTB and see what is out there for you. I think that one could be cleaned up, the first gears are made longer and has a lot of contact surface so it could be fixed and reused, I think. Maybe someone with more trans experience can help you. Good Luck

I'm with Rick Whitson on this. WTB first. If that does not work I would dress the edges of the old one before import parts.

I agree with Ken's comments above, that gear doesn't look that bad, especially if the mating first gear is fresh. Just don't drag the trans into first while moving without double-clutching!

Wow, I would think about buying it for a spare, in todays world that's cheap, I would think. Good Luck.
