Gerald, I think you have your work cut out on this one. Here is a link to a Willie Worthy JP article which has some discussion on this.
    http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticles/drivetrain/154_0611_old_school/viewall.html

Personally, I think the Ranger type 2 speed aux would be about the only option, but I don't know if those were ever manufactured for use with a T90 Jeep bell. I think your only realistic coarse would be a set of Teralows in the Tcase and bump the axle ratio up to something like 4.10's or 4.27's. Even higher if you have a T98/T18 granny gear.

    http://www.teraflex.biz/low20-manual.html#second

Going to be a lot of money for both kit and axle gears.
    Why I still much prefer a D18 over a D20.

I have, on very rare occasion, seen a Borg/Warner R-10 (a.k.a. Studebaker) overdrive attached to the back of a Dana 20 case. This part of the article Mr. Duffer linked describes the problems with it.

I'm not sure of the year, but my guess is in 1958 or maybe a bit before, two die-hard Jeepers by the names of Clarence Shook of Rancho Jeep Supply and Basil Smith from ROCK-ETT Products, which later became Smittybilt, got together and built an adapter to mount a Studebaker-style Borg Warner overdrive to the output end of the Spicer 18 transfer case. While it could only be used in two-wheel drive, it lowered the overall rpm by 27 percent. This, in reality, changed those 5.38s to 4.10s and made highway travel not only quieter but faster. I found ways to modify the governor and solenoid so that I could shift into overdrive between each gear, turning the T-90 into a kind of six-speed transmission. For some reason or another I had lots of problems with the Studebaker overdrive and lost several planetary drives. The big drawback of this overdrive unit was the super-short driveshaft that resulted. Plus, you had to be sure to take it out of overdrive when you shifted into four-wheel drive or Reverse. The shaft and adapter sold for about $70, and the complete kit with a rebuilt overdrive went for $150 when they first came out.

    thx
my problem is that my axles are to low ( 4.10) for my stock tires (30").
i dont want to make my axels longer because i have arb in both and change this would be to expensive, i have a set of 3.54 but than i can not use my lockers.....and i need my arb lockers.

    i have now 4.2l + t150 + dana20 + 4.10
    but in near future i will have 304 + t18 + dana20 + 4.10

how much trouble will it be to put a 5 speed behind the 304 and sell my t18?

A Ford RTS is a 4 speed (3+OD) Al case truck transmission you can adapt to D18s and 20s.

I would go with a bigger tire.
    Something like a 235/85-16
Skinny enough to look factory but the 32.4" diameter might make your driveablity more to your liking.
I had this combo on my rubicon and it was perfect.

The RTS can adapt to an AMC engine by using a '76 up CJ bellhousing. I don't recommend them though. They are medium duty at best, do not have a great first gear, and some parts are almost impossible to find.
I had one I was going to use but needed a few parts that were simply unavailable. That transmission has since been used to keep other RTS's running.

A CJ-6 has enough room for an AX-15 or NP3550 from an XJ. They will bolt up to any AMC engines. Won't bolt up to your Dana 20 though ... instead I'd use a Jeep Dana 300. Easy to source in the USA, maybe not so easy in Austria.

The Dana 300 can also be converted to 4:1 low range, which will partly make up for no granny gear in the AX-15/NP3550.

I was thinking the same as Tim said.

Gerald, are you shipping your rig to Florida for engine mods?

    here is my situation.
    my fried bought me a great running 77 cj5 with 304 t18 d20 for 2800$
so i have a great engine in fl but the 6 is here.

shipping my 6 to fl is easy but i dont think my buddy can do 304 ax15 d300 swap for me, he owns a bodyshop and is no mechanik.
let a shop do this is expensive.
if i bring the cj5 to europe makes no sens because than i have no jeep in the us for the rubicon.

still think what is the best.....

doing nothing is also an option because than i have the the 5 for the rubicon and after the rubicon i send the 5 to europe and do the swap.......

if i find someone for the enginswap who is not to expensive i would send my jeep tomorrow.

Aren't you going to leave that CJ here in Cali?
That way you can come back and do more trails like the Dusy, which I have yet to do as well. Or all of the Big Bear mountain stuff, John Bull, etc... Or Calico! Or Truckhaven!! The Mojave Trail!!!
I could go on but I think that'll be enticing enough ;) ;)
