right now I run a 68 Olds 442 p/s 4bolt box, with my 14" steering wheel it's about a 4 turn box .the pump is a standard GM pump not as old as my 68 pump on my Olds (it's more square with a metal housing . I hit the junkyard and I picked up a big Ford van p/s cooler to help dissipate heat that's waiting to install .

Question: what does the ARG box and pump offer more than stock ,,,,,(is there stuff I can do to my set up that will help my jeep .I"m not really unhappy with my setup just want a little more power assist with 35's and big rocks ,and I think the cooler will help a lot but just looking for an other ideas.

Question : I want to place cooler underneath my bumper ,looks like a good spot big enough but will not really get any fan pulling air off it .Would it just be better to run it infront of the fan . I need it mostly when crawling at low rpm anyway so there is very little air movement .....

Question : what about a different pulley size

and then I saw this .......this looks interesting but unsure if I should try this ,,,,it was on the internet yah know ,and the key words they use is "SHOULD",, but it has to be true right?

also looks like there is a bearing or bushing that's shot at the bottom of my late 70's GM column .....I should have real good luck finding a replacement when I have no idea what car or yr at the Napa

Don't know anything about the ARG boxes/pumps, but having the cooler in front of the radiator works very well. I never really tried mounting them elsewhere, but like the radiator, the more air, the better they will work (assuming the air temp is actually less than the hydraulic fluid). I also plumbed a regular spin-on hydraulic filter on the return line. If nothing else, it adds another quart of hydraulic fluid to the system which will knock the temp down a few degrees by itself.

I would also recommend PSC over AGR. The owner of PSC used to own AGR but I guess was offered too much to pass up, saw how quality suffered at AGR, and started PSC. At least that's the story I get.
A smaller specialty shop may be a better choice to really dial your setup in.
Regarding the column bushing, probably going to need to pull what you have and take some measurements if you don't know what the column is from. If you have access to a lathe or know someone who does a new one should be able to be made.

I've heard good things about Lee Manufacturing too.
