The man up the street from my brother has these wheels and would sell them. He said he thought they are from an older model jeep but was not sure. Can any one familiar with the factory renegade wheels from the intermediates or earlier tell enough from these photos whether they are factory renegade wheels? They appear to be 15x8 in. I have a set of superior wheels that look like those. If they're after market the manufacturer's name should be on the back side. Ron

I have a set that look like that also. As far as I know the 15x7 was the only width that was offered as an option in the aluminum rim. Also they used an acorn style lug nut not the shoulder with washer like those appear to be.

Ah, now that I think about it I believe the factory renegade wheels were 7 in wide and not 8. Also I did notice that the lug nut seats were a straight bore without a conical seat for acorn nuts. But I did not remember what kind of lug nuts the aluminum renegade wheels used. Thanks for the help.

As mentioned earlier, I think these wheels are aftermarket. The deeper "lip" and the straight bore for the lugs are indications. These appear to have the larger 4 1/8" (or more) center bore, so should work on our CJs. These are still desirable wheels, even if not OEM pieces.

Looks like one of the rims is different from the others based on the relationship of the D slot to the lug bore. I seem to remember that on the Renegade rims, the lug bore was centered in relationship to the D slot.

Renegade wheels? The center hole is 4.125, 15x7 wheel, 5x5.5 and all stamped with the capital letter A followed by the number. Back when I had my renegade I seem to remember that the OEMs were all stamped with the capital A followed by the serial number or by a number. Hopefully I can post my photos here.

    These ARE Renegade wheels!
They have a conical lug nut seat, the sausage slots have a smooth inside, the valve stem protrudes thru one slot and there is a raised ring between the mounting flange and rest of wheel.
I looked thru many wheel piles when I was searching for same. A good set of 5 is worth at least $500.
