Spent yesterday afternoon installing this. Fit perfect. Only complication was getting the factory tin foil version (which also retains the tank) off so I could pound some big dents out. The RE version covers the stock one. Oh, and my wife filled the tank the day before.

Lucky for me, one of the factory moisture drain holes was about 1x3/4" diameter and right near the rear of the mount. Whittled out an oak stick to fit that hole and used it to hold the rear of the tank in-place while I lowered the stock mounting a few inches on the floor jack. Then I could tread 2 more ratchet straps through to hold the tank (threaded one through near the the front before lowering the mounting). Reversed the procedure to get it all back in.

Think I'll also order RE's transfercase skid. It goes forward past the cross member to protect the right side exhaust cross over and would presumably protect the cross member also. It has taken some pretty good abuse already.

Yep, but the stick was just common sense.

Installed RE's transfercase skid last weekend. Perfect fit and covers the exhaust cross-over. Probably go scratch both of those up next week.
