There was some recent interest in seat supports for the CJ5. I have two drivers sides and one passenger side. If there is any interest in them, let me know. I understand they are kind of hard to find when your looking, so here there are. The two drivers sides are different heights. If anyone needs messurements on them I will post new pictures tomorrow> i figured I dug them out, so might as well sell them. Not sure what they are worth exactly, so I will ask $100 for all three. Plus shipping. If I'm way off just let me know. I know they were hard to find when I was looking and then I went with totally different seat mounts because of the build. No cracks or damage.

I have an M38A1 that I'm looking to put civilian seats in because I think they'll be more comfortable for my wife. I'm not sure if these will fit. Did they come out of a Jeep with the under seat toolbox and gas tank? an A1 gas tank is much larger so that's another problem to think about.

Don they look to be the same as my 70 cj5, minus the different height. It has the under seat tank. My 71 has it in the back frame area. I can check the five tomorrow to see which one matches.

The A1 has about a 17 gallon tank. Much larger than a CJ. I need to do some measuring.

Don, the A1 tank's extra capacity is in a well in the floor. The civillian floor is flat. The civillian seat frames will fit over your A1 tank the same as they do in a CJ5. Check how much your sending unit sticks up. I had one retrofit from another military vehicle that was taller than the A1's correct sender.

I need a Driver and the Passenger frame work, and want to remove highbacks and install mid 70's low backs in a 1965 CJ6, and 1962 CJ5. I will take all three if still available.

Flybrian, I've decided to hang onto these for a while longer. I have a Colorado tub coming in for my 71 I was going to part out, but now decided to put it back together and keep complete. The tub was the missing link and should be here in a week or so. I will see what extras are coming with that and repost these if I find they are included. Sorry about any problems this creates, but I'd rather save another Dauntless cj5 than see it go to parts.

    Masscj2a,
I spoke to BostonBob, and no seat brackets are on your tub, so I'm back on the hunt.
I really need the 1972-75 Intermediate brackets for the set of seats I just had upholstered.
    Any help is appreciated.
