It doesn't get much worse for me. This is as it sits today, essentially acting as a dumping ground with around half a dozen projects on the go, currently focusing on two: Installation of a new window and re-siding a portion of the house as part of a larger renovation and installing new low back seats on the CJ.

That is a great welding table you have there. I'm adding that to something I need to make. And do you ever open the windshield?

Thanks - it was my first welding project after getting a Miller 215.
kind of a mix between a welding table / plasma cutting table with the ability to mount my chop saw on the end.

Hot summer days, that windshield is open always. Usually cracked open about 4" is perfect.

I'm impressed with the usage of space. Lots of light and shelving. my biggest issue is stuff being buried behind other stuff. I've got a generator under the jeep with 3 powerwheels and A lawnmower to move to get to it.

Been working on the shop yet, but I’m house sitting this week. Couldn’t stand not having the whole gang home anymore.

    Looks way bigger in pictures.

Started on running conduit and electrical over the past weekend. Hopefully I can get it wrapped up before the snow flies.

Did some re-arranging and organizing of the indoor workbench this week. It's becoming Mikes Museum of Musty Technologies. Currently harvesting goodies from a '30s typewriter I unearthed in a corner of the newspaper when I was there. It's rusted past ever being restored, and I can find nice ones for $100 - so having fun pulling it apart. The engineering is amazing when you see the number of moving parts and think about the lack of any computer use in designing & building.

Whew!! :study: I think that’s about it to get everyone up to speed! Been out there just about every day. I quit my job a couple months back to focus on a career change. In the mean time I’ve been bettering myself by finally finishing my little shop! Still a few things to go. Maybe I’ll update again soon. :waiting:

Wish I could like this more than once! Great looking shop! Good luck with the career pivot, I did that in 2019 and couldn't be happier.
