I found this small pattern bell housing. It appears to be a T90 bolt pattern. 6 inches across the top and 5.75 down. The center opening is only 4 inches though I don't think that will matter. Once I bolt my Jeep T18 transmission to bell housing adapter to it. Has anyone here seen a bell housing like this?

Pretty sure that is a 1971 buick bellhousing from a CJ5 that bolts up to a t14. Hard to tell on my phone though.

Yes I own a 1971 that has the T14. My bell housing is one piece about 9.5 inches deep. This one is about 6.5 inches deep.

    Very interesting bell you found.
4" index bore is very small.
I think the Jeep T90 normally has 4-1/4" index bore.
if only 6.5" deep one could potentially bolt direct to a T90 with short maindrive gear like a T90 C.
That thing ought to fetch $150

What's the BOP number on it ?
Usually found stamped on the edge near or below the fork opening.

This is very interesting to say the least. Never saw or even heard of this bell.

I am always a little worried when someone says it fits a what ever but does not state exact dimensions. It is indeed a 1971 for T14. Just got off the phone again. Some how the seller stated the wrong depth the first time we talked. So I guess it is Novak adapter for me kit 1879 it appears. [IMG]

This is an adapter I picked up some years ago. It will bolt up to my 71 T14 bell housing except the I would need about a 10.5 stick out input shaft. Rather not have just a one foot long rear drive shaft. Part number 992667 with 4 11/16 index hole.

That looks to be an adapter for a 72-75 T-18 in a CJ5 that uses the T-14/T-15 Bellhousing.

this guy has had a pile-o-parts on CL for the last few years. Someone mentioned axles? I think he has a shed that's full of them, complete to just shafts standing in the corners. Never called / bought or emailed him, just see his shingle in CL always.
