Soft Top Confusion????

    Not sure if this is the place for this? My research tells me that the soft tops for early cj5 cover 55 to 75 (correct?) I found a cheap top but the guy sez he knows from experience that it fits a 73 to 81? So will this fit a 66? Help pls. Walt..

    So I guess he needs more experience since 73 to 81 doesn't work with jeeps..:):) Tnx for the confirmation..

    Just to clarify, the '76 and newer windshield frame is narrower at the top and angles farther back than the '75 and older. that's the biggest reason the tops are different. Because of this the doors have a different shape and the top fits differently.
